This feature allows all clients to access and convert publications using an FTP client. This feature integrates with the notification and post processing features of the task view feature and allows clients to easily upload a great number of documents and receive notifications. As FTP forms the basis of many DTP workflows this feature allows for easy and stable automated workflows using a well known protocol.
This feature lays the ground stones for a new way of displaying and controlling ongoing conversion progress in the publicator. Progress Views will allow users to receive notifications and setup basic actions when conversions complete. Basic actions include activating publications, moving them to specific folders and adding them to archives.
In addition this feature includes a new conversion engine that allows for much faster document conversion and faster load speed due to more optimized publications.
