It would be of benefit to our company if there was a function where you could format the newsfeeds; change the font type, size and colour, etc. This would enable us to promote our news items to greater effective while keeping to our house 'style'.
Currently, the only external link information captured are those assigned using the Zmags external links tool. External links embedded in Flash or .SWF files are not captured. It seems you could capture this information by sending the link through to your statistics system via the landing page which then forwards to the originally assigned link.
This should be a fundamental feature due to the fact that the nature of this type of publishing, users are encouraged to add more enriched media to enhance the end-user experience.
It would be interesting to see which paths readers follow when they read our magazine. It would also be great to have an overview of the number of clicks generated by all the internal links (cfr external links reporting).

Why not enable multiaple selection of uploaded media files (nice if you want to delete many files)... also enable folders... so it is possible create a media folder for each publication.. this way one can quickly find relevant media files for a specific publication

Pleeeeze allow a page range to be deleted from a pdf... It is a major bind deleting one page, waiting for the update, delete another page, wait for the update....etc. Especially on large documents. It is a major cost of time and effort that we can ill afford.
I think zmags should considering implementing a print-on-demand feature. for my audience, personally, that is one feature that is lacking in our digital publications and may lead to us choosing a different online publishing company. i'd hate to leave zmags because it's so easy to use, the presentation is flexible and the tech support and customer support is fantastic!
There should be a way to restrict access to new or added users on each account. I would like to give my new users access to only certain publication categories and restrict others. I don't like giving new users access to all the publications associated with the account.
Any way this could be something to have in the future for those of us who are account administrators?
Would like this feature because will help our students when using our publication and not having to click so many links. When a student hover their mouse over a course in which he/she wants to register for it will help them see the course description and required prerequisites.
We are starting to use the shopping basket feature more and I think I may have logged something similar before, but when you enter information using wish list link into the Product ID field, it does not display when the item is added to basket. The basket only displays to the end user, Item name, Description, Price & Qty. I know when you export the shopping basket to the parser the Product ID is collected and parsed, but it would be nice to display this in the shopping basket aswell.
Ideally, when customizing the viewer, it would be great for the shopping basket to display all of the features with tick boxes, so that we can choose what elements we want displayed and captured in the shopping basket. i.e. if you were using the shopping basket just to display a product list summary on the customer website, then Price or Quantity may not be required.
It would also be great to be able to change the “proceed to checkout button” text, as sometimes this button is not being used for this exact function.
