SWF File Sizing

I emebdded a swf file to size in the media link tool, actual presentation was out of place and a smaller size in the zmag. How do you prevetn this from happening.

Hi,

With the newest edition of Flash CS4, the possibilities of animating has been given an extra nice feature; the 3D animation tool. Since this opens up a world of upportunities, im surprized to see that Zmag still only supports Flash Player 9 content. In practice, this means that the 3 dimensional objects in your *.swf file, will be "stretched" to a plane view, thus destroying your 3D animation.

Are there any updates/news on this matter?

FLV Resizing

Is there any way to change the dimensions of the video files once in the page other than the drag to expand feature? For instance, if the FLV had a unique dimension (like 280 x 680 - or some other oblong flash file), is there a way to perform a customize resize of the media box the video is presented in on the page? It seems that currently there is only a set dimension for the media files and thus every media file outside of that dimension is squeezed to that size.

Any way of changing this?

Resizing video content

The media resizing tool in the Medialib area currently only allows resizing of the file while maintaining the aspect ratio on the movie. It is not currently possible to set the dimensions of the video file to a specific size but it is a great idea for a future version of the platform and I think it would be a great addition to the ideas section of the community.

Rotating video content

When will it possible to rotate video content to fit a box that is on an angle instead of straight?

If it is already possible, can you let me know how please, as the tutorials don't explain it and I can see no tags on the media box to do so like you can with internal / external links.

WHERE is the medialib area?

Great info on using the medialib area for videos, etc.

So, where is it?

I don't see a heading anywhere in the publicator window. If i search "medialib" in the community site, I get the same four blog posts that refer to it, but nothing that says, "Medialib Center. Come here for your media posting needs. Here's how to use the Media lib center...."

It's really frustrating to know there is a tool that will help me, but to have NO help in finding it!!

If you go to Content Management > My Publications, the Media Lib link is the 2nd column from the right. Clicking on the link icon will launch the Media Lib module.
