A research made by Posten, the Swedish National Postal Service, on Scandinavian eCommerce trends show that 21 percent of all Scandinavians buys goods or services online on a regular basis. This is the highest adoption rate within the European Union.

Customers uses digital catalogs to find Inspiration

Interesting point in the study here is that catalogs – hard copies as well as digital – are often key when customers are doing research or find inspiration. The main benefit is the ability to inspire and give the overview – something that search or comparison function inside an online shop does not offer the end-users. The study also finds that catalogs are highly valued artifacts: More than 41 % of the respondents save their catalog for more than 2 months.

Fewer clicks to sales with interactive catalogs

So catalogs supports eCommerce, and Zmags supports that even further. The online catalog serves the same purpose as your hard copy. Your readers can browse around easily for overview and inspiration, it can be accessed from almost anywhere and it can be saved for future use. But it does not end here.

Use Zmags to integrate your online catalog with your ecommerce system

Zmags offers highly integrated features like automatically adding hundreds of links on top of product codes. Clicking a highlighted product code in your online catalog directs the user to the specific item in your online shop.
Another popular feature is to integrate a shopping basket and let readers select items in your online catalog. After filling the basket they can proceed to check-out with just one mouse click.
