New Digital Magazines reader survey available
Do you consider publishing your B-to-B magazine digitally? Digital Magazine News recently published results from a comprehensive end-user study performed by Pernwell. The survey shows some pretty interesting highlights: First of all there is a clear pattern on adoption, when a title becomes available as a digital magazine. It ramps up pretty quickly and settles at a naturally level between 15-25 % of total circulation. Results are compared to a similar study made 4 years ago.
A remarkable trend is to be found among the top reasons for choosing a digital magazine from a printed one. 61 % of B-to-B digital magazine readers subscribes because of environmental reasons, which makes it the 2nd most selected option after "Easy to save". The survey contains lots of other useful findings - especially if you are considering to supplement your magazine with a digital version.
